It is definitely that time of year! Well, depending on where you live that is. In the northern hemisphere it is spring going on summer, so shedding is to be expected. Some bunnies do shed more than others, and some seem to shed all year long. Brushing will definitely help.

Other than that, depending on how long you have had her, the change in diet or location could be causing stress and thus shedding. Most likely though, it is just the change in seasons.

Yep, it’s that time of the year. Some bunnies seem to shed constantly (though worse at certain times of the year) while others shed minimally. Even the minimal shedders will usually molt twice a year though.

One of mine seems to molt badly every other year and I have no idea why. Other times she’ll shed mildly, but not to the point of having tufts coming out. Most of the time she doesn’t really shed at all.

My boy very clearly blows his coat twice a year, and seems to shed constantly at a lower level the rest of the year.
