Okay so all symptoms point to an ear infection. My poor Aurora is ill I thought she was having trouble going to the bathroom yesterday but I rubbed her tummy and shes been pooping a lot. But when she started getting her energy back she was slightly tilting her head, she had bad balance, and was only turning right (kept circling)

Now she’s not eating, sleeping all day, and not drinking any water. This is so unlike her.

I’m taking her to the vet first thing tomorrow I just was wondering if you guys know the name (or any names) of the ear drops so I can look it up and get an idea of the price. Or if any of you live in Canada and have had to buy these for your bun just let me know a price range.

Is it just the antibiotics for an ear infection? Help please I would like as much info as possible!

I would not give her ear drops unless advised by the vet. Different vets have different protocols for inner ear infections including oral antibiotics and ear drops.

The price will depend on what type of infection (if any) it is and what type of antibiotic is best. My bunny often gets Baytril Otic. The extent of the infection and whether it is affecting middle or inner ear may require oral antibiotics as well. Best of luck at the vet.

Yes I’m not planning and going to get her ear drops without seeing the vet!! I need to make sure that it IS in fact an ear infection. I did some research.. it seems the medications for buns are not at all expensive, I think the visit to the vet is what costs the most!!!

I looked up baytril and its not too expensive, but yea I guess it all depends on the type of infection. Thanks!!
