Hi, all! So my darling black mini-lop bunny does some pretty weird stuff. But tonight I just gone done clipping her nails, then sat her down on the floor in the blanket I had her wrapped in (to keep her calm while clipping) and tried to encourage her into her cage. Then I noticed she had latched onto the blanket, wouldn’t let go, and was trying to tear it up.. Then even more strangely, her tail was quivering and she almost looked like she was trying to hump it or wad it up or something. I mean I know she was mad at me for clipping her nails, but she has never done that before! Please help me understand my baby’s behavior! Thanks!

Sounds pretty cute. Maybe she was taking her anger out on the blanket and trying to show it dominance, haha.

When my Olivia gets in a bad mood, she does something similar. She takes all the blankets out of her bed and bunches them up. I think this is a normal burrowing behaviour. Not sure why she does it when she’s ticked off.

Yeah Sialia it actually was pretty cute and I think you’re both right. It seems like she was just mad and trying to show dominance lol. Rabbits are weird sometimes.
