One of my buns is litter trained and goes in the litter. UNLESS she is playing and hopping around on me or the couch while Im laying around relaxing. She like to sleep on my chest….then she gets up..stretches…and pee’s! Bleh! What the heck is the deal??

This is a popular post – because the couch smells like you she is marking – happens even with litter trained rabbits and altered rabbits. The solution is not to allow her on the couch.

Maybe it’s because she just really really needs to go?

I’ve wondered about that with my bunny. So I try to cut back some of his time with me and on the blankets I lie on next to their playroom. Cause he can come in here in my space too on the fleece blankets but sometimes he has accidents. So after like 10 mins I guide him back to where he knows his toilet area is.

Good idea They are allowed to roam and sometimes I allow them to use me as their jungle gym for too long…lol

Sorry if you’ve mentioned before but is your bun spayed?

Okay, well it’s not much help right now, but spaying usually reduces this behaviour.
