        Hi all,

Please forgive a possible repeat post/question on the topic. I have had a look for my specific case and not seen exactly what I am looking for.

My background is that my lovely girlfriend went and bought herself an adorable dwarf bunny and he is settling brilliantly at her place. Now the thing is that she spends a lot of time in my apartment during the week and I want to make sure that it is safe and healthy for the bunny to be moved between places on a regular basis as I would not have her leave him alone for any more than time than is absolutely necessary.

I know they do not like traveling and he has been to my apartment and seems to be very very happy there but it is the act of transporting him on a twice or thrice weekly trip (1hr by car each way) that I am unsure of.

Any help or advice would be very much appreciated.

        Cheers,

        Dave

Welcome Dave – I think it truly depends on the rabbit, but I don’t think 1 hour is too terribly long and I think he could get used to it.

            Thanks Sarita,

He has made the journey now 3 times before I realised how stressful it can be for the poor creatures and he does seem fine. He is only 10 weeks old so I guess has time to learn.

I am just trying to make sure he is being treated right as never had a rabbit before

            Many thanks for the response.

            Dave

I think that since he is young, he will get used to it. We had a member on this forum (forgot who it was) who drove their bun twice weekly and he was just fine.
