My rabbit is of a very timid nature so today as I was holding him, I opened up a creaky cupboard and he spazzed out and jumped out of my arms and he landed very hard on my tile floor. Afterward, I noticed him limping and not being able to put weight on one of his hind legs. After maybe about an hour he seemed to be doing a bit better and he’s even laying on all four legs and started to lightly use it to scratch his ears and such. He doesn’t seem to be grinding his teeth in pain and he’s very happily eating. Should I still be concerned? For now, he’s in his cage with very restricted movement and has fallen asleep (and is even snoring). Is there anything I should do to make sure he’s comfortable? Thank you.

I think I would just watch him closely to see if the limping continues and if it does it would be a good idea to just have a vet check. That’s really about all you can do.

Thank you, after a night of rest I let him out and he started running around as if nothing happened
