        Hello

My ten month old rabbit has recently started just backing up anywhere and peeing as she pleases I clap and say no it doesn’t faze her . I try to hurry and put her in her cage but she just let’s it loose. Then she just runs away and If I try to catch her she won’t come to me when I do catch her she kicks and kicks but she never thumps or growls or anything mean. It’s this territorial she is unspay but to be soon. Also after she is out running she breathes extremely fast is that normal after a good workout ?

How old is she? It sounds like she might be reaching her teenage stage and will need to be spayed soon like you said.
Rabbits do breathe faster after a good binky or bunny 500 but if you notice it is labored or shallow that indicates a problem.

Hello thanks sorry for the late reply . I still have my bun who is now a year and 1 month old she goes on the carpet in certain areas. I have tried scrubbing the area with vinegar and baking soda then vacuum it up but she still will do a full round of poo and urine behind my bedroom door. I have yet to get her spay as money is very tight I can only afford her needs like food, water, hay, veggies, and fruit. I also learned how to clip her nails she is now alot calmer when I do this. For the breathing she does still breath extremely fast after running around and playing its never been shallow. after about 15 minutes she is calm and starts eating food and drinking again on her own.
