Hey everyone! On Sunday, I am embarking on my first NIC/C&C condo build! Can’t decide on exact dimensions of it yet, but I have orered 2 boxes of cube which give me 64 squares in total

For the flooring of my condo, I need something wipeable incase of any accidents (Barney one of my rescues has tummy issues sometimes) but they are both litter trained I cant really have carpet as Belle seems to have a particular taste for it, so I was thinking of cork adhesive tiles!

What do you guys think? I could use dowelling rods or planks of wood along the edges of the whole cage to avoid there being edges for her to pull up with her teeth …. honestly she’s notoriously toothy and cheeky for a 3 legged bun!!

        Thanks in advance guys

        Anna, Barney and Belle

I think that sounds like a good idea to me.

Hi Anna, Barney and MY (I stole her! ha ha) precious Belle. I’m not familiar with adhesive cork tiles, but it sounds very simular to lino/vinyl? If so, that’s what I used to line the floor in Henry’s house/cage and it works a treat! I was clever like you (WOW! lol…) and thought to cover the vinyl edges so Henry wouldn’t be enticed to eat the edges of his flooring – when hubby made his cage he built it so the frame of the cage sits inside the floor tray on top of the vinyl edge. Henry has never attempted to eat his flooring.
A NEW bunny home – so exciting!!!!! Have fun Anna, and remember to post photo’s when your done – I can’t wait! Kisses to Barney and Belle, cheers!

              Sarita – great, thanks!
AndHenry – Ah, I was wondering when you might pop up! I havent been on BB recently as I’ve had sooo much uni work to do, but now that it’s the easter break and I have a new bunny home project, I’m back in full force! I’m glad you’ve tried this method and it has worked, I’m hoping mrs bad bun Belle won’t get her gnashers around it!! I am thinking that I will get wooden dowelling rods and cut them to side, and then secure them in place with lots of cable ties so they cant be thrown around
I will definitely be posting project photos when I’m done! Thanks for the advice, kisses to you, Andi and Henry! Hope things are good across the pond in Aussie x
