My very active and curious rabbit ate two teddy grahams this morning, out of my purse. I didn’t know they were in there and I’ve never seen him eat anything bad for him. He has a very strong stomach and eats everything (pellets, Timothy hay, alfalfa). He’s eating/drinking still, and pooping (lord it’s all over my house), he should be okay right?

He should be ok. Just watch his food/water intake and his poop and wee.

I wouldn’t worry. My rabbits have somehow found things on the floor before and ate them. Just make sure he’s eating normally.

AndHenry-You have never had a TeddyGraham? Wow you Aussies have missed out! They are Graham crackers, in the shape of bears about an inch tall, then glazed with honey. Yum.

Edit to ADD – Have you guys heard of our fabulous famous ‘Tim Tam’s’? We may have to do a trade????

You don’t usually keep them in your purse, they must of just fallen in there.
No I have not heard of those!
What about m&m’s? Don’t you guys call candy coated chocolates Smarties? We call them m&m’s and Smarties are little tart candies. It would be fun to do a trade, wouldn’t it!

Tim Tam’s are an Aussie icon! They are a chocolate biscuit (x2) with a layer of chocolate cream/icing and covered in CHOCOLATE!!!!!!!!!! YUM!
We have Smarties and m&m’s. My fav is Smarties, can’t beat the original! But the hubby loves the peanut m&m’s. Smarties are simular to m&m’s but I can taste the difference…….
Yes – we should do BB lolly/treat trade off – see who’s got what and who wants to trade????? Now that would be FUN!

Piglet has never lived down his infamous terrarium raid…. Little stinker managed to get a mouthful of fishbone fern…..

Oh Roberta, I can’t believe I’m asking you (another Aussie) this – but what is terrarium????? I’m sure I’m gonna feel silly once you tell me, DOH! Is it really fishbone fern as in a plant????

It’s a garden in a jar…. In this case it was an old fish tank with a lid on it… Unfortunately there was a small gap in the lid…..

They were really popular in the 70’s but went out of fashion for a while… Now you can buy living pendant terrariums…

Yep! I feel stupid! I bought one for my grandma back in the 80’s for Christmas one year. It was a small glass coffee table with plants inside, I just didn’t know they were called that – silly me!
And I just HAD to have a look – I LOVE the jewellery! What a fantastic idea!!!!! Thanks Roberta.

My deepest sympathy to you Aussies who don’t have Teddy Grahams. Quite addicting. They come in quite a few flavors, but chocolate is just the best! Hope you have fish crackers

Fish crackers????? I’m hoping they are crackers shaped like fish and NOT taste like fish????? Lol!
Our most famous/popular cracker is a Jatz! A lightly salted plain cracker – yummy with vegemite!

In Canada, we have Smarties, the chocolate version, too. But, also have M&ms. Our tart candies are called Rockets

I don’t know what a ‘tart candy’ is either????? ha ha haha….. Is it ‘tart’ as in sour? If so, we call them ‘sour’ lollies, LOL!!!!! Gosh this is funny!
(We Aussie’s use the term tart to describe a sweet pie – for example, ‘caramel tart’ or a not so nice girl…. lol!).

You don’t have goldfish crackers! O_o those were my childhood!
Seriously though, here in America they are the #1 snack for kids. I still love them.
They are not fish flavoured, they are cheese flavour, but they are shaped like fish.

I like how the OP’s question was answered in the first two posts and then everyone else hijacked the thread to talk about snacks haha!

One of my favorite potato chip flavors is seaweed and salt. So far Calbee is the only brand that does it and you can find them at some Asian markets. They also make chocolate covered shrimp chips too. It sounds crazy and maybe a little gross but they’re pretty tasty.

I think I’ll pass on the ‘chocolate covered shrimp’ chips – YUCK! ha haha. I love shrimp (we call them prawns) and chocolate – just not together!!!!!!!

Vegemite! It’s a spread and looks like black tar and is very salty, another Aussie icon food that is now owned by the Americans!   If you don’t eat Vegemite your not a true Aussie!

I know kookaburra!!!! When my son was in concert band in school, the director wanted them to warm up playing scales. As soon as the director would leave the room they always switched to kookaburra! The director would get so angry — 150 16 andhrs 17 year olds playing a nursery rhyme tune! (It sounded REALLY good!)
