I’ve always fed my bunny cilantro as one of her main veggies because she loves it so much and I didn’t see anything wrong with it. But why am I hearing things about it only being ok to feed once in a while? Its not like spinach where it is high in oxalic acid

I’ve these sites where it said to feed it in moderation:

        https://www.naturalrabbitfood.com/c…-cilantro/

        http://smallpetselect.com/nutrition…t-cilantro

Here it also says that kale should be given sparingly but a lot of people seem to use it

I would read this article written by a rabbit knowledgeable vet and go by this list:

I would say about those first 2 sites – one is from a company that produces pellets so there is that and the second one – who knows who that answer is from…

I wouldn’t worry about it. I give my buns cilantro as a main veggie.

We use a lot of cilantro in our house (our tastes tend to lean towards a lot of Mexican, even though that’s not our ethnicity!) and we regularly give Meadow the stems and leftover bits we don’t use. She loves it!

Cilantro is fine to feed to rabbits. My rabbits get cilantro as their main veggie in their salad. Just make sure that your rabbit isn’t getting the runs from eating to many vegetables.

My bunnies get cilantro often and have never had a problem.
