My dutch rabbit Lola is 10 weeks old. Shes in a  3x3x2 c&c cage with stick on tile flooring. She has a pretty large storage bin litter box with a hole cut in it so she can jump in and out. In the litter box is carefresh bedding, timothy hay, and her food and water dish. She has plenty of room to lie down in the litter box. I’ve had her about a week and 1/2 and she rarely pees in her litter box. I’ve caught her about to pee and shew her into her box to go, but she just hops out, runs around a bit and pees out side the box. When I see her pee in a corner I wipe up the pee with a little paper towel and put a piece of it under the bedding in her litter box, then move the litter box to the corner she pees in. She just switches corners. I also throw her poops in the box. Anyone have any other tips? I know it hasn’t been long, but she should have caught on a little bit by now. She literally will pee in a corner then lie in her pee. She doesn’t care how dirty she gets lol. I will be getting her spayed once she gets about 6 months old.

I’m no pro at litter training! I’ve only had my Lily for a few weeks now! I started her off with the smaller corner litter box and she would just use the opposite corner at first so I used a larger box and she is catching on very well. She hasn’t peed outside the box in over a week! With that being said , maybe add another box? At least until she can learn what the litter box is! maybe use her favorite treat to get her into the box and then she will feel better about using it…. Good Luck! Stay positive and keep trying! Hopefully you will get some progress soon.
