Happy to report that just two days after my Leia’s spay, she’s back to eating normal, acting her normal ornery self and even tried to Binky ( that didn’t really work out for her but she tried)! She’s not in any pain, and doing her best to “help” with laundry. I’m so happy; I love her!

That’s great!  I got my bun neutered two weeks ago.  He was great the first few days eating his pellets and greens as usual but he wouldn’t touch his hay or drink for about a week.  Three days after the surgery, he decided to bite and pick so much at his incision that he ate the stitches out and had a slight infection.  Thankfully the dr knew mr jingles personality and gave me a weeks supply of pain meds and a two week supply of antibiotics.  I think we as parents, have the harder time with the spays and neuters.

Yeah, I slept on the couch next to her the nite I brought her home! I’ll continue to keep watch to make sure she doesn’t have a fall back-that’s a good cautionary tale u told. But I’ve been watching: she’s cleaning around her stitches but seems a little nervous to lick them. And they look real good. Hope ur boy is feeling better!

Those girls can scare us a bit bc they do seem so sad for the first day or two… I’m glad she’s bouncing back!

Yes Mr jingles is doing great now.  The incision is barely noticeable after two weeks.  Thanks for asking.  My vet said there is really nothing you can do to prevent them from biting it.  Thats why he used glue and a second row of stitches.  He said bunnies are bunnies.
