I saw on another forum a post with pictures of bunnies as babies and then as adults, and I thought how cute!
So I figured we have to do this! I know lots of people got their bunnies as adults, so maybe we could do pictures of when they first came home and then now.
I haven’t seen this in here before, sorry if it’s been done already
So here’s mine!
Luna at 8 weeks being fed by my boyfriend:
Luna a couple of weeks ago being fed by him:
How things change, eh!
Oh Tessie – she is just precious! I’ll add to it, just gotta find Henry’s baby photo’s that are buried in amongst the 1000 or so photo’s I have taken of him since, ha ha ha…..
Are you going to add pic’s of Teddy? I can’t wait to see how much he has grown????
Aw, her little ears. They look so different with their ears down.
Lily was about 5 months when we got her, so she didnt’ look that different, but I do think she’s filled out a bit since. Here’s the first picture we took of her
(total impulse buy at the county fair. Don’t be like me, kids.)
and the little booger today, at two years old
Tessie, what a cute baby Luna was! She sure got a lot bigger and of course her ears flopped. It’s nice that you have a picture with her ears up, too. I agree with AndHenry, please post pictures of Teddy as well!
Diamond: Lily looks so tiny! I understand how you couldn’t resist her at the fair. I love that she kept her tiny ears!
Here’s Oscar when we brought him home at 9 weeks old:
And now, almost 1 year old:
Awwww, Lily is such a cutie, I love her little face.
And oh my goodness, Oscar looks so tiny, and then as an adult he looks so majestic! haha
I will look for pictures of Teddy, I don’t have many good ones of him actually.
Well, I have three buns so it’s going to be a lot of pics haha but here they are!
Excuse Sally, she’s molting :p
Then and now of Sally.
Then and now of Bam. (yes, I have his baby photos!)
Harley! Then and Now 1) when he was a couple weeks. 2) when first brought home. 3) NOW! <3
Harley’s my bug cuddle bug <3
I don’t have a picture but when I first got Lulu at around 4 or 5 weeks she was just this teeny tiny ball of blue gray fluff! She could fit in the palm of my hand she was so little! They had to scoop her up with one of those nets that are used to catch fish. Now she’s a 5 pound bunny butt. I wish I had earlier pictures of her!!
Omg NBO123, those babies. I wouldnt have expected baby Bam to be so fluffy, but he issss
Lol at least I have something of excuse with Lily “yes Your Honor, I had done no research on rabbit care, but in my defense, have you seen her?” At least it turned out alright.
NBO – your bunnies were and are so adorable. Sally is my favourite lop on this forum and she was so sweet as a baby Oscar!! What a cutie! Lily’s so lovely and I just love Luna What a great idea Tessie! I had a look at my old photos and I can’t believe how much Buddy changed, he’s only been with us for 14 months. Amazing…
Bud 4 days after we got him from a rescue and now
I found some of Teddy!
He’s really very handsome but he doesn’t photograph well for some reason…
Here he is at 3 weeks with his sister (He’s the one on the left):
They’re so cute
Here he is at 8 weeks when we brought him home:
And here he is now with the same foodbowl he had in the last picture, and his new litterbox which is double the size that the old one was: You can also see how big he is compared to the stuffed dog!
He’s still growing too!
We had two check ups after his neuter, one two days after, and one ten says after, and he’d gained almost a whole kg in that week!
It’s because Bam is a lionhead/Dutch mix he used to have a little bitty mane but I guess he outgrew that :p
And thanks, MissD! Buddy is a definite favorite of mine ever since you joined this forum! And wow oscar has filled in so nicely. I remember when you first got him. Tessie, I’m jealous of Teddy. I wish I could have a large bun. One da though when I have the space.
And now:
And I didn’t have Lola as a baby, but I know her previous owner. This is a baby picture of her:
When I first got her:
And now (even though it’s only been a month):
Aw this is so fun!! Hazel, Oscar is SO handsome, and Tessie, I just cant get over Teddy’s ears!
Everyones buns are so adorable it’s really adding fuel to the flames of me “trying” to resist getting a second bunny.
Anyway, I havent been on here in a while due to school and work keeping me pretty busy, but I popped on tonight and couldn’t resist this thread! haha
Here’s baby Holly!
And this is Holly earlier today (not the picture I wanted to post, the one that shows her size, but for some reason I couldnt upload the one I wanted. Oh well! This is also cute.)
Sorry again for the double post! If an admin could delete the one below this I would appreciate it!!
Oh my gosh! This thread is too cute! Everyone’s babies<3 I love the way lops have uppity ears first haha. When my ex had Mimzy they didn't take many pics of her & neither did I, not sure why!
Mimzy then, (about 13 weeks) not sure if you can tell how small she was.
5 months (I think)
Now…
For Kenobi, I didn’t know him when he was a baby & his previous owner got him at 6 months. This was the oldest of him of her photos I could find
Then…
Now
Sorry for all the pics! I couldn’t choose lol
I love baby pics!!!!! So much adorable! And love looking at the gorgeous bunnies those little baby puffs become!!! Thanks for sharing!
Baby Bindi Loo
Now, at 7 (and still super Adorable!!!)
For those that don’t know Olivia’s story, here it is. I normally never shop at pet stores that sell animals but one day I had to because my usual pet store ran out of pellets. I saw the saddest looking adult bunny in a tiny glass front cage. She had an eye infection. The look in her yes just broke my heart. So I took a picture of her and came home to contemplate. Of course, I wanted to snatch her but this would be bunny number 3, at the time. I discussed it here on BB and, of course, you all said “Go get her!!!!” and my husband was moved by the pic too, so the next day we went to the pet store. Apparently, she was about a year old and had been bought, had babies and was returned. I offered them $10.00 and brought her home. We got her eye infection cleared up and she was on her way to becoming the Diva she is today. It took a really long time to gain her trust and love. I strongly suspect she was abused and/or at least badly handled.
This is Olivia today. A very spoiled little lady.
Truly a Princess Transformation.
Oh I love this thread!! Squeeeeeee!!!!
Here are my buns! And yes maybe I’m cheating because they’re only 3 months old now and still very young
That’s Frodo as a baby 4 weeks old! I didn’t take these myself! They come from the lady that was raising them at the time.
And Arya as a 4 week old baby!
Eeeeeeep! <3
And now, 3 months old!
Following!
Most of you would have seen these pics in their birthday video but they bear repeating
Piglet and Pepper, Rescue day to recent.
they are too cute.
Cotton was no more than 4 months old you may need to enlarge it to see his mane. lionhead dutch mix
Cotton today
So great to see where all these bunnies started from & now Just heartwarming to know where they came from & how well they’re treated now.
I just love Frodo & Arya! & the white spot on Frodo’s head, I love it!
Olivia definitely looks like a diva now haha, so pretty
I’ve only had Lola for a little less than 2 months so she looks the same but I love all these pictures! Everyone’s buns look so adorable! I cannot wait until I can get Lola a friend! (Have to figure out her liver situation and make sure she is spayed first)
This thread is awesome! It’s amazing to see the transformation. This is Rufus’ picture from the ad when I got him (he’s on the far right) and this is him recently being a proud 15 month old. Love the little guy so much!
Maaaaaan! This thread is great. I love seeing all the rabbits I know on here when they were bubs and now.
I have some Then and Now photos to add also. Just need to do some editing.
oh my gawwsh, baby Rufus! Precious!
<3
4 lil bunnies in a row!
<3
What a good name choice for Rufus! He looks so regal.
This thread is giving me bunny fever! I just want to go adopt a million more!
Haha. They only stay like that for the briefest of times though.
Then it’s phase 2: unholy terrors. j/k, they’re not that bad.
Or maybe my memory is selective…
Mimzy’s “phase 2” was pretty bad! She drove me crazy for a while there. But it was also because I hardly knew anything about rabbits so I didn’t really understand her She was biting, digging, scratching, & going potty everywhere haha, not fun!
Lola is in that phase now. She was when I got her, actually. I just couldn’t say no to a bunny in need, especially since I had already decided to get a second bun and was just looking for the right one to adopt. She digs, chews, destroys, poops and pees everywhere. The poops aren’t so bad; they’re pretty easy to clean up. It’s mostly the chewing. I can’t buy nice things anymore.
Bailey never really had that phase. She does chew, but she learns really quickly. Once I take something away from her a few times, she learns that it isn’t hers. It’s only bad when I don’t find her chewing on something until it’s too late, but that hasn’t happened in weeks. She was also so good with her litter box! I didn’t even have to train her. She just used it right away. She’s peed in a few of her favourite spots since I brought Lola home, but I think it’s just a territory thing. Baby Bailey (well, 5 months old when I got her Bailey) was so sweet!
Top 2014 – Bottom 2011 – not much different – not sure how old he was when I got him – maybe a few years old.
I feel Yeti has change a lot and it’s pretty obvious from the pictures lol. He used to look like a fluffy kitten. Now he’s a crazy, hairy rabbit which I have to groom and give haircuts otherwise he can’t see lol.
CUTE! Love Yeti’s haircut haha, look at all that hair!
Sarita, he looks angry in the first pic beautiful coat too!
Yeti!!!! Haha, perfect name
Squeeeeee this thread makes me happy!!!
Yeti!! Love him!!!
I LOVE THIS THREAD! I didn’t think these buns could get any cuter until I saw them as babies I’m sure everyone misses their baby bunnies, I know I do!
2 months old
1 year old (now)
Squeeeee!!!!!
Sarita: Bobbi reminds me of a grumpy, compact Olivia!
So many cuties!!!!!!
Nugget!!<3 What a difference! Love him ^-^ Definitely miss Mimzy being little, I didn't get to spend much time with her but I wish now I took more advantage of the time I did have with her at that age but oh well, she doesn't hold it against me
I love this thread. My baby pics are on a separate device I need to find mine and add them if I can.
Haha it’s nice to see others appreciate Yeti’s hairiness. There’s nothing better then a thread full of baby bun pictures!
ohmygawsh all the squeeing done over the monthly picture thread doesn’t even compare to the amt of squeeing done over THIS thread with baby bun pics… I just went from LOVE to OBSESSION over all the cute buns I look at regularly on Binky Bunny lol
I wish I had super baby pics of Simba but the earliest I have is this which was the posting pic that pulled me into the bunny world and helped me with my grieving for my bridge dog at the time….
Simba @ about 2 months old:
The day I brought him home @ about 3 months old:
The most recent pic I have @ about 11 months old:
I can’t believe Simba’s first birthday is coming up soon in about 2 weeks*!!
