I got a male baby Lionhead about 2 weeks ago. He is the 2nd rabbit I’ve had and the 3rd in my family. My last rabbit was kept outdoors, but this one is staying a house bunny! He is super sweet and playful. I let him out each night and let him run around my room. I have bunny-proofed it to keep him out of dangerous areas and I’ve been lucky that he is a climber and not a chewer. My problem however is that he wants to jump on my bed. Once he is litter trained i wont really have a problem with it, but since he is only about 8 weeks old, he just poops wherever he wants. And I’d prefer to keep it off my bed! Any tips for keeping him in the floor?

Lol well, you can either block off that room or just take him off whenever he hops up. Also even once bunnies are fixed they may like to still do their business on soft absorbent surfaces, such as beds. Some don’t though.

Line BunnyLady1989 said, even fixed bunnies may still mark (poop and pee) on beds sometimes. Best suggestion is to make the bedroom a bunny free zone. If that’s not possible, a pen set up around the bed will block him from getting up there.

My bunny does not regulalrly have accidents, but I have a horrible habit of falling asleep at night with the bunny on the bed. He is too old to jump of the bed and as a result, if I forget to put him down, he may tinkle on the bed! Now, whenever I put him on the bed, I put two large fluffy bath towels under him. so if I fall asleep, and the bunny has got to go, it won’t be a big ordeal. FYI — he has only tinkled once on the bed. Since then, I have not fallen asleep. But, the towels are just in case. Bunnies can be so smart at times. In the past, when I have fallen asleep, he has headbutted me to wake up and put him down.
