        Hello,

I’m going to be building a NIC cage in a few days and I was curious which brands to get. I know these NIC cubes were not intended to be rabbit cages so I’m assuming some may be painted with toxic paint that would be harmful to rabbits. So with that in mind is there any brands to stay away from and which do you suggest as a good brand to get.

I have not heard of anyone having issues with their NIC squares being toxic- not to say that no one has- I’m more worried with my trouble makers eating the coroplast base or somehow managing to eat a chunk of the peel-and-stick vinyl tiles I used on the shelves! I also don’t know that any one brand is better than another, though I know with the type I used, one *box* might be better than another; one set fit together very nicely, and the other set was its own special circle of hell to get to fit together haha

Do NOT get the Target ones. The spacing of the wires is too wide on over half the box of grids.

I am happy with the Bed, Bath & Beyond ones.
