Good morning everyone! The past few weeks flash bites her cage all night and it keeps me up . I was told to put lemon on the bars but she lives lemons! I heard something about spraying the bars with hairspray? But is that not poisonous? Please share your success tricks!

Do not use hairspray! I’m a hairstylist and hairspray isn’t good for humans to ingest, trust me I’ve had my fair share of inhaling hairspray. There was a similar thread going around last month,I think, about this. One of the members, BlueMoods, suggested weaving those plastic placemats into the bars. Leave it like that for awhile and eventually try taking it out and it should work. I haven’t tried it yet, but it sounds like it works like a charm!

Oh dear…does she have plenty of toys to play with? Maybe she needs more hay during the night?

Mimzy does this too but only during the day when she wants out or when she’s out of hay (so annoying when she’s out of hay lol)
I’ve heard people say to try vinegar on the bars, you could try that? I tried vinegar but she absolutely loves it haha, anything I spray with vinegar, she licks it. Hehe, good luck!

Hi! Yes I started a thread about this a few weeks ago. I bought the flexible mats and weaved them through the bars and it works like a charm! I also bought bitter lime spray but havent used it yet. The mats work perfectly though!
