        Hello all,

I have an 8 month old French Lop and am wondering if I’m doing things right.  I made a short video detailing his space and arrangements.  Any comments are appreciated.

Looks great! What a spoiled bunny! The only thing that I can see is that you may want to put the hay in the litterbox, bunnies often like it in there. As long as he doesn’t chew the stuff on the sheves, I think it is a perfect setup!

Awww. You beat me LEL! I was going to say the same thing. Only thing I would add also is that I’m assuming you scoop out the litter during the week? I’d think you’d need to clean it out every couple of days for a giant. But what a spoiled bunny. I saw the younger video of him. It would appear he’s become camera shy now and I would’ve liked to see him now. Sooo cute

POOR MARTY to have to live in such deplorable conditions… I feel SO BAD for him… HOW COULD YOU?!!? ;o)

Lol… obviously I’m kidding! That looks amazing! Such a great area, especially with him being a large breed rabbit! And he is soooo adorable!”

I have a question… what is the outer pen made out of, I can see the frame but what are the sides made of (mesh, wire?)

I do have one small suggestion. You showed the wire top of the old cage sitting on the floor. That’s an awesome idea for a “den-like” place for him to hang out, but I would suggest you remove the wire door completely off the front. If he were to run in there quickly he could snag a nail on the wire. You should just be able to take a pair of pliers or something and unbend the wire where it connects the door. Don’t get rid of the door though! If you needed to put him back in the cage for some reason (traveling, dismantling or relocating the pen), you could just zip tie the door in place temporarily.

Other than that small thing, this is AMAZING!!! (I also love your Ikea chair! We want one with an ottoman but literally don’t have a place to put it! Lol!)

I am going to send BB (the site creator/admin) a link to your thread here. She may want to add some pictures of it to our “Cool Habitat” section!

Amazing – you get an A+++++ in my opinion :~)

                      Marty is adorable too.

Or if you don’t want to remove the door, you could lay a rug or bunny safe grass mat in front…
