I’ll try and keep this brief.

Teddy’s illness was a good few weeks ago now, and he has put on weight since then, but he’s still fairly skinny. His bones are more prominent than they should be, and he just feels a bit thin.
I don’t know if it’s because he’s growing at the same time so it’s hard to gain weight?

He has unlimited pellets and hay and some greens, so I’m not sure if there’s anything else I should do?
        Thanks!

If he isn’t gaining properly, you can give him 1 TSP (no more) of Calf Mana form ManaPro for a month to six weeks. It is a nutrition and calorie packed supplement for most grazing animals. Note that since it is corn rich you don’t want to feed it more than six weeks and, no more than 2 TSP per day. It is also anise flavored so, will smell strange to you but, I have yet to find a rabbit that doesn’t like the stuff.

Okay, I’ve heard you mention that stuff before. It seems hard to get in the UK… I’ve found a bag online for £28, is it worth it?

To me it’s worth it. I always have it on hand. Often a rabbit will eat it and greens even when they would otherwise be on Critical care. Just store the extra in the freezer and don’t feed it more than about six weeks w/o taking 2 weeks off to see if the rabbit still needs it. It is high carb and high protein so, you can’t give too much or feed it continuously. It’s meant to be a short term supplement for just weaned, sick, recovering or, underweight animals, not a permanent feed.

Here in the US it runs about 15.00 for 10 lbs so, it might be worth the shipping to order it form the US. It isn’t urgent you have it today so, look into ordering a bag.
