        Hi everyone

I am thinking about adopting or buying anther bunny. I already have a bonded pair and would love to be able to bonded them together as a trio. But I am not sure if it’s a good idea and I have been told it’s can ruin even the best of bonds is this true?

        Thoughts?

        Lots of bunny kisses,

        Ralph, Rosie and Grac

I don’t know. I’ve never actually had someone tell me that a third rabbit ruined their original bond before, although I’ve always been told it’s possible, I don’t think I’ve ever talked to someone who actually witnessed it before. I do think it’s something that you should be prepared for just in case.

During the creation of my trio, I did notice that it seemed to upset the bond between the already bonded rabbits–I saw more behaviors like humping and nipping between the already bonded rabbits, even when the third was no where near them. It never caused real problems or fights, however.

I just finished bonding my pair+1 trio and I can honestly say I love it. There is always a risk with bonding already bonded pairs with other bunnies, but if your pair is well bonded it shouldn’t be a problem.
