I have a dwarf lionshead rabbit named Andrew. I’ve had him for almpst a year now and he was 7 weeks when i got him. he’s always been super sweet and cuddly but the past few days he’s bitten me at least four times, he runs away when I put him on the floor to play, and he’s been acting extremely agressive. There are no other animals in the house, so he is usually showered with attention by everyone in my family. He’s scaring me because I feel like I’ve done something wrong. he’s my first pet ever, and obviously my first bunny. I’ve done everything I am supposed to do I’ve reseached extensively so I would know how to take care of him, but I don’t know why he’s acting like this please help

If he hasn’t been neutered yet, it’s time! This is classic hormonal behavior, and you should call the vet to get him neutered as soon as possible. In the course of having it done, he will get examined to be sure he’s healthy for the procedure, and if there is another cause for the biting, your vet should spot it then. If it’s any kind of illness (unlikely) it would need to be treated before the neuter.

But he is hormonal, which causes aggression, and generally bad behavior in otherwise nice bunnies. He will act that way for about 4 more weeks after the procedure, but then he should calm down a lot. Hang in there!
