Well I guess as long as bunny doesn’t chew the toilet paper or get his/her head stuck in the opening….

Think just a hay stuffed toilet paper roll might be just as fun and much easier :~)

Looks fine, but I would only use it for playtime, because you don’t want him eating it or getting stuck. Sometimes it is fun to make something a bit more unique that a toilet roll tube, and might keep bunny a little more engaged.

I’m going to try a similar idea using rice paper, and not so much of it, just a double thickness. That would be safer for the rabbit, if it ate any of the bowl, and, of course the opening has to be large enough that the rabbit I’m giving it to won’t get stuck in it. I think I’ll need to bake the rice paper one on low in the oven for a while to get it to be hard enough to work.

doesn’t rice paper have different wood ashes in it? or can you find it without?

You can find edible rice paper at oriental specialty markets. It is used in several dishes, and is fun to print with soy or other vegetable inks and use as edible name tags for human dinner, to put photographs on a cake, etc… I give it to my bunnies at times, not every day since it is rice and that is a carbohydrate rich food, but a little now and then as part of a toy won’t hurt them.
