  This morning I woke up and ziggy won’t eat!! Not even a craisin! Im so scared & I don’t knw what to do. I just paid my rent so no money for the vet. When I tried to force feed him, 1 poop came out. He’s moving around his cage, but he just won’t eat!

  I would give him some time to see if will eat eventually before you panic. Try to entice him with some fresh greens too. It’s good he’s moving about.

  Thx, sarita. I hav anxiety and this is the 1st time it’s happened. Doesn’t help that I have a stomach bug myself right now. I don’t have a syringe, but I made a mush of pellets, water & a little banana. I put some on his mouth so he licks it off.

  Simethecone is very safe and can be given to rabbits. Get infant gas drops (for human infants) and give 1/4 to 1/2 ML. Ziggy may simply have gas, and that should help him pass it. If it does not help in 3-4 hours, get to a vet and work out a payment arrangement if you need to.
