I have a very sweet girl who doesn’t mind being held, loves to lick my face, and feet,,she doesn’t mind the kids, or the dog…is this normal for a baby bunny? we have had her for only a little over a week..she was sweet from the day we got her…is this going to change when she is more comfortable living with us? Im waiting for her to show “true colors” is there a chance at all she is just a sweet girl and we got lucky or do you think this is all an act because all baby bunnies are sweet (like real babies) till they hit that toddler phase and look out.

Could go either way, or go through a bunny version of terrible twos and back to sweet again. No way to tell but with all the affection and handling now, chances are she will enjoy that always.

Just wait for those hormones to hit. You will wonder who replaced your bunny with a crazed little monster.

Babies tend to be sweet and cuddly, when they age they will show hormonal insane behavior then settle into their adult personalities after that. On the bright side, some adults are cuddly.

I think that is why a lot of buns end up being surrendered after their baby phase is over. People think they’ve gone crazy! Oh enjoy it while it lasts and you never know, she may be the exception and return to her cuddly self after her spay. Fingers and toes crossed for you!!

You’ll still love her and enjoy her when she is older! You’re a mom, so you know that every stage is a special time. You love your newborn, but you also love your toddler, and older child… The behavior and needs and relationship changes, but the love is always there.
