In October, our then most recent addition, Navi, had a lump on the back of her neck. We noticed this about six weeks (we think) after her inoculations.

        https://binkybunny.com/FORUM/tabid/54/aft/127258/Default.aspx

The vet hadn’t seen anything like it before, said it was a one off, freak thing, just a fatty deposit where her skin had reacted to the injection.

She’s recovered beautifully and is now a happy, healthy menace.

Now, my wife has just noticed a lump on Daisy (our now, new addition…)
This lump is in EXACTLY the same place as Navi’s was, and, after having a little poke and prod about it, it feels the same, just a little smaller and less defined.

Now, I don’t know if this is actually something that happens often, and we’re just more observant than most, or, do we just have the sh*****st luck going?!…

I’ve had rabbits with these fatty deposits and my vet has easily removed them. Not sure why but it does seem fairly common for rabbits.

I’m sorry to hear that. Are you going to get it checked out?

We explained to the vets over the phone, but neither he or us believed it to be overly urgent. So we had her booked into the vets for today.

So, after the vet visit. The vet agreed that it was the same as the issue we had with Navi, and just something along the lines of the injection had aggravated fat cells, or something to that effect.

She has two or three small (less than 1cm) lumps, but they’re right at the injection site.

We’ve had her on anti-inflammatories for a few days and they haven’t reduced, so, we’re just just observe them for the time being.
Not overly worried, it’s just one thing after another, really.
