  We seem to be a target of some type of spambot attack. This started yesterday afternoon and got seriously out of hand overnight when none of us were online to delete the posts.
  
  Usually, we ask that members message us using the “Alert” option when they see spam posts. Since this is a spambot issue though, don’t worry about alerting to these. We’re aware of the situation and deleting them as they’re posted.

  That was an insane amount of Spam! I deleted what I could, thanks to the FLs who did all the rest. Especially, whoever tackled the Rescue section…..

  Beka and Sarita did the lions’ share of deleting. I did my part by waking up BB and Hubby this morning with emails saying Help! Help! Two sleepy gurus were hard on the trail of the spammers and ate them for lunch.
  Please see BB’s note in the Lounge explaining the temporary post delay while the problem is dealt with. Thanks to members for your patience, and to JG for pretty flowers.

  I feel for you guys. The forum I am an admin on has been getting spam bot attacked and it’s a pain in the neck. I wish people would just go away with those things! Good job despamming and poor BB having to wake up to that!

  Thanks JerseyGirl! I must say we do have amazing Forum Leaders. They were on that spambot like white on rice! We are working now on preventative measures so they don’t have to be put through this nuttyness.
