Ok, so I actually have my first real (maybe real?) concern with Holly. lol She’s finally figured out that she can get to the second floor of her condo. I had thought that she could jump up and not down and was getting stuck up there, so I added a ramp. Apparently she wasn’t stuck, she just really loves it up there!

However, I’m a little concerned she’s spending too much time up there and not enough time running around in her pen/ eating/ drinking. Before she discovered the second floor she would run around until about 10am when she would take her first nap, she’d be eating hay every few minutes and grazing on pellets. Now she’s been pacing back and forth across the second level and not wanting to come down. If she was hungry she’d come down right? lol I might just be being overly concerned with nothing, but I just wanted to make sure. If I put some hay on the second level she’ll eat it, and if I put her back into her pen she’ll eat/ run around for a bit, but if I leave her alone all she wants to do is run back and forth up there. Maybe it’s the newness of just discovering it yesterday?

Sorry if I’m being crazy! haha

          I think it’s the “newness”. :o)

You have seen her jump down? As long as she can get up and down by herself, she’s not going to starve herself b/c her food is “sooooo far away”… lol!

What is the flooring made of? The only issue would be if the bottom level is slippery, she might not like jumping down because there is no traction.

I added a ramp and she can definitely get down it, and the floor is a replacement dog crate bottom that has a rough texture (and she also has a flat bed on top of that). I think it’s probably newness. lol After I posted this she ran down the ramp, out into her pen, and ate and then ran around like crazy before going back up the ramp and falling asleep. haha

I think she just found her new favorite spot. I worry too much! :/

Rabbits will definitely bring out the worry in us all!
