My boyrfriend brought me some daisies about a week ago & I’m soon going to throw them out. I read that they can eat daisies but are flowers bought from a grocery store treated with anything, does anyone know?

I want to feed them some but I want to make sure it’s safe. Also, what parts can they have? Can they eat the whole thing?

I am sure if you got them from a store, they are treated (unless labelled organic).
I wouldn’t feed them if I were you.

That’s a bummer, I’m not sure if they are organic. Better safe than sorry! Thank you!

If your yard isn’t treated, you can give some dandelions in the spring (the yellow flower part), but yeah, I wouldn’t give the store-bought daisies!
How sweet of your boyfriend tho! :o)

(I’ve been married a long time, I rarely get flowers… lol!)

Fun fact… daisies are very closely related to dandelions ^___^ look at the leaves!
