We have an almost 8 month old mini lop who will be spayed in the next month or so.  We have the opportunity to get another bun from the same parents; she is currently about 6 weeks old.

How old would the younger one need to be before starting the bonding process?  Can it be done with one spayed rabbit and one who is too young to spay?

Or would we be better off waiting until the younger one could be spayed?  In that case, the older rabbit would be a little over a year old and the younger one about six months old.

I would wait until both are spayed, Those hormones can break any ind of bond you start. But no, other than that, age does not matter
