Hello everyone, I have had my bun named Hanson for about seven months now and he is my first rabbit. I have not fed him too much romaine lettuce, but now as he is getting older I’m starting to feed him more leafy greens and salads. I was curious if it is okay to feed Hanson organic baby romaine leaves as a base leaf for salads as opposed to regular organic romaine heads? Does anybody know the difference between the baby romaine leaves and the regular heads? What’s the plus side, and what’s the minus side? Thanks!

I would think that any romaine is fine, as long as it’s nice and fresh.

Baby will be sweeter than an adult head of lettuce. It is great for picky buns that turn their noses up at a lot of veggies. I suppose a con would be the risk of them not wanting regular lettuce again after that.
