What type of bowl do you use to feed your bunny? Any suggestions and/or links to buy would be great

I use a variety of bowls for my bunnies. Some are human candy bowls, which work quite well as they are heavy and have flat bottoms. Others are from pet stores, I have a shallow purple bowl for pellets that I bought cheap at petco, a super pet carrot bowl which works well for water, as well as a blue and brown very heavy duty one. One of my bowls I made myself from clay, then painted and fired it so that it is food safe. Another bowl I made at ColorMeMine, a little place where you pick a ceramic shape (I used a dog bowl ceramic shape), paint it, and then they fire it. I also use regular ceramic human bowls, although they are easily tipped.
          Sorry for the rant.
I also don’t know where I got most of my bowls, what they are called, price, etc since I have had them for so long. I will look them up and get back to you.

Well, aren’t you clever LEL – ” One of my bowls I made myself from clay, then painted and fired it so that it is food safe” – LOL! Good on you! Can I place an order???? He he he….
I too use dog (heavy) ceramic bowls as Henry has tipped over everything else. I once made him eat his pellets off the floor, thinking ‘that would teach him’! NA! As if he cared? I did – another mess to clean up (the crumbs), naughty bunny!
Henry is not a hay eater, so I have to stuff his hay into toys (cane thingy’s, toilet rolls, etc.) to entice him to eat it.
His veggies – some nights I feel like just throwing it straight onto the floor, cause no matter how hard I try to layer it….. He chucks off whatever is on top to see if I hid his favourite on the bottom? What a mess! Again I use a heavy glass bowl (why I bother?????). It took me 3 months to work out the best bowls to use for Henry, so go for the heaviest (hard to tip over) and I think it’s just trial and error from there? As annoying as it may be – I always got a chuckle out of it when he defeated me. Have fun – cheers xxmelaniedawn.

I use heavy ceramic crocks. Olivia has a pretty purple one and Bindi has one with guinea pigs on it (what a horrible bunny Mom, I am). Similar to the picture below. I bought them at the pet store in the small animal section. You could also use heavyweight ceramic cat dishes. I also use the same type of crock for water dishes. If my buns could spill them, they would so it’s important they are heavy enough they can’t tip them over.

Heavy crockery bowls are the best. Unfortunately, most of the bowls sold in pet stores and on pet supply sites online, are from China. I would hope that they are safe and lead free, but you never know. If you have any feed stores in your area, check there. The ones near me sell American made crockery bowls.

This is the brand of bowl that I found at a feed store, they also sell them online. http://martinezpotterymarshall.net/…2&=SID.  You may want a more shallow bowl than these for pellets, but they’re really nice for water bowls.
