Here we go… Ever since I Met Stanley he’s had a couple very small pimple like bumps on his back. Between his shoulder blades.. The breeder treated him with ivermectin. She said it was a pre caution but I saw what looked like fur mites on his dad(in separate cage). Anyway I took him to the vet right after I brought him home and my vet didn’t seem concerned at all. She said “it would be a snow storm”. Now I haven’t seen a huge amount of this dandruff.. Maybe 1 or 2 specs If that’s even what it even is.. And he still has the tiny pimple things.

When I pull back fur I can’t see anything at all.. What do I do

If it is/was mites it’s probably cheyletiella parasitovorax, the type most common in rabbitrys. I don’t think you need to do anything for now. If it gets worse, it’s easily treatable with Revolution (selamectine). My bunny Bam has a small “pimple” on his back between his shoulder-blade, but it always stays the same. When I first found him, he had mites. When I found my other bunny he too had a very mild case of mites. These mites are not dangerous to a bunny but can cause an intense itch and most often they’re located just where the bunny can’t reach to clean itself.

Just keep an eye on out for dandruff and/or hairloss on spots and/or crusty skin. If you brush and handle your bunny often you will notice if sth is going on and then you can take action.

I googled cheyletiella parasitovorax rabbit and found images that looked exactly like what Bam had.
