For all of you who cared Stanley is binkying like a maniac right now so I don’t think he has a foot problem lol. Jw if he can play with a paper towel? Is it safe to eat? He’s loving it but I took it away just to be safe. Thanks!

That’s awesome Caitlyn! Cheeky Stanley making you worry….
Paper towel, I’m a bugga for using it constantly throughout my house and Henry has consumed a bit (ok, more than a bit – naughty bunny! Ssshhh! don’t tell anyone) cause it is a no no. Mostly cause the process includes a lot of harmful chemicals – for bunny’s! A bit by accident shouldn’t do any harm (Henry is still alive) but I wouldn’t encourage it. I use anything cardboard – the paper towel roll, toilet rolls, and his favourite – our old packing boxes (luckily the print/advertising is very small, we were able to rip that bit out). I know, it’s a shame when your bunny’s does something cute and it turns out to be a no no (no fun – drats) but it’s not worth a sick bunny later. My floor is so covered in toilet rolls, I think we as a family have forgotten how to throw them in the bin – we walk out and dump the roll on the floor! Since getting Henry – I always encourage guests to call before they visit!

It’s just cellulose, pretty harmless. It shouldn’t be part of his regular diet or anything, but a wee bit is no big deal.

When Porky first came home and we were litter training, I had just wiped down a peed on spot with white vinegar to eliminate the smell with a paper towel. I assumed Porky would leave the towel alone since it was wet with vinegar. Instead, he decided the vinegar was salad dressing.
