Flynn and pebbles both got spayed together. Pebbles is eating and hopping around. I haven’t seen Flynn eat yet. I don’t know if I’m being paranoid because I haven’t been with them 24/7. I gave them loads of parsley and it was all gone over night – not sure who ate it though I tried to tempt them both with lettuce and basil and pebbles had a bunch and gave up and Flynn didn’t eat anything.
Also, they normally lie next to each other all the time and now they don’t… Am I being paranoid?
They’re seeing the vet tomorrow to check on stitches

Sometimes it can take up to a full day for them to start eating again – however I would keep trying to tempt Flynn if you aren’t certain.

It can definitely take time for them to start eating again. My female goes on a 3 day hunger strike after any procedure and has to be force fed.

I would try to temp her with food and keep a close eye on them during feeding time. If she’s still not eating when you go to the vet, they can provide you with critical care and show you how to force feed her until she starts eating.

                  Thanks for easing my mind!
Flynn is back to eating today and loves pebbles again!
                  Such a relieved mommy
