My little guy was just neutered on Fri, a week ago.  Everything seems fine (appeared to be no pain and was eating right away) and he was playing again by Sun.  He’s been acting weird the last day or 2.  Normally he sleeps on his side in a couple spots he’s chosen as his.  But now, not only is he sleeping on his back, but he will be in the middle of the floor or the hallway.  Does this mean something is bothering or hurting him?  He seems fine otherwise.  If I poke him, he’ll just hop up and circle me like normal.  Or stand up with pleading eyes for treats.

It doesn’t sound as if he’s suffering from anything serious. I suppose you’ve checked the surgical area for swelling, redness etc. Otherwise, please do. He may still be a little tender “down there”.

A bunny may act a little out of the ordinary after a neuter because his brain and body will be adjusting to changes in the hormonal levels.

I just thought that this new position might mean something. When my cat was doing that it was because his back was sore (he was too fat). The area is a bit red, but he doesn’t seem to be bothered by it. Maybe he’s just exhausted from looking for his 2 buddies. lol!
