A while back around September I think, I began bunny sitting for a bunny named Bunny! He was to stay with me for 4 months so I made him this temporary cage. I converted my Conure’s large flight cage into 2 cages, each having their own trays. I know it’s small but he gets 8-10 hours of play time every day, he really only sleeps in it. Plus it was supposed to be temporary but now that he’ll be staying, once I bond Mimzy & Bunny they will both be getting a new cage

In the 2nd pic, there is also an outer tray for my bird for any of his food or fecal droppings. Also these are kind of old pics, Bunny’s half still has toys but smaller wooden ones so it’s not so crowded & he no longer has the white rim there, I cut it off because he kept trying to chew it.

Just wanted to show a neat way of converting a cage into 2

Great job!! I like the second tray -I bet bird seed would fall down for Buddy to get at without it-very good idea!
