        Hello!

I think I know what a binky is, but could somebody explain it to me? When I let Walter out, he runs in circles then kinda hops weird in the air. He repeats this forever! I eventually put him back in his cage because I am afraid he will hurt himself! As I have said before I will put pictures up as soon as possible!

        Thanks!

That is exactly what a binky is. It’s them having fun! They binky when they are very happy or excited, I wouldn’t worry about it at all

You’ve pretty much described it. Different bunnies will have different styles though. Typically it involves some sort of twisting or contortion while in the air. But there are half binkies or head binkies where they aren’t mid-jump.

Yep – that’s a binky! Don’t worry Walter’s mom – as much as I knew it was a sign my Henry was happy (or just weird? not really knowing at the time), it took me to be a BB member to know exactly what is was too. Wishing both you (cause it is super fun to watch) and Walter lots of binkies!!!!!

Thanks everyone! It is really fun to watch him does this. He’ll run in like 4 huge circles and then hop in the air and twist. Then he’ll repeat this in the other direction. In the summer I let him out in a large open topped cage to run. He did the same thing but he would take snack breaks in between!
                Thanks!

During the summer, when I had first gotten him, he was in the house and would run and slide on the tile. Our land lord doesn’t like animals in the house so he is in the garage with a heat lamp right now. If I was allowed to bring him in I would!
