We left half a burger on a table that she’s never been able to reach. Came back and, of course, the bun was missing…and found a little piece of it buried in the couch. I’m guessing she ate around a third of a bun, though I have no idea how she got it. Luckily it was a veggie burger—there were onions/tomatoes/pickles/lettuce, but it looks like she just got the bun (with some sort of sauce on it). This is a lot of bread for her (she’s 6.5 lbs). I’ll of course keep an eye on her for the usual signs of tummy upset, but is there anything I should be particularly worried about? Has anyone had a bun eat that much bread before? Thanks all!

I don’t think you need to worry too much. Just keep an eye out.

I agree with LBJ, she should be OK…. The usual process lots of hay and water to keep things moving…
It never ceases to amaze me what bunnies suddenly take a fancy to.

Yep, agreed! If you have a spare hour or two, I’d be happy to tell you all the naughty stuff my boy has eaten (he should have exploded by now?!?!) dopey bunny!

Thanks all! She’s a climber so she gets to the weirdest things all the time, but every time I get freaked out all over again…

I once lost a whole slice of toast to one of mine with jam and (luckily vegan) butter. Left it on the table to answer the door, when I came back I just heard some munching. So naughty! Anyway I worried about all the bread and sugar but she was fine. Just a piglet.
