        Hi All,

I figured I’d reach out and get some opinions, advice, personal experiences on bonding an adult rabbit and baby rabbit.

I have a 2.5 year old male neutered holland lop and recently got an 8 week female mini lop.  I have been housing them in an NIC bunny condo I built, with grids up separating them (photos of the condo attached) and they have sniffed each other through the grids. I know it is best to bond two rabbits when they are fixed, but I won’t be able to spay the female until she is 5 months old.  Should I wait until she is spayed and healed and then start bonding or can I start bonding them now?

Any personal experiences/advice would be greatly appreciated

          You have to wait.

Yes, I know it’s hard, but ZombieSue is right, you need both bunnies to be fixed.

Why do you need to wait until 5 months? The time will fly by anyway.

The female is only 8 weeks old right now. Vet won’t spay her until she’s 5 months. I guess I’ll be waiting.
              Thanks for your help!
