My rabbit LOVES to chew and destroy things, cardboard boxes are his favorite. He usually doesn’t eat a lot of the cardboard just shreds it. He also has a fleece blanket that’s his favorite and it doesn’t look to me like he eats any of the fleece he just chews holes in it. Every once in a while he probably eats a piece but I usually find them scattered on the carpet. Should I be concerned or does this sound okay? Are there other alternatives to these that might be safer for him that he might like? He has a big ball made of timothy hay and a tunnel made of willow branches but these aren’t competition for his favorite card board boxes.

It’s probably ok. Lots of bunnies eat cardboard and as long as they’re not filling up on it and avoiding real food, it’s fine.

Eating fleece wouldn’t be great, but it sounds like he doesn’t eat it.
