Because I am far too susceptible to a sob story, I adopted two flemish giants over the weekend. (Hoss and Pfeffer, 4 months)

I also have a mini lop (Penny, 2.5yrs).

Penny eats timothy pellets, Timothy hay, and the occasional piece of carrot or celery, and she is normal weight and very healthy.

should I be feeding the new bunnies the same? ( so far they’ve just had hay and pellets).

Should I restrict how much they eat…or just give them as much as they want?

does anyone have a giant? …how much do they eat in an average day?

        Thanks for any help!

Do you know what they were eating at their previous home? If they were not eating veggies, you can gradually introduce them to veggies.

Bunnies at 4 months should still be getting unlimited pellets.

I don’t have a giant but there are some members here that do. I would love to have a big bunny!

Here is a great link on rabbit nutrition
