I’ve been trying out different litters for a while now.  My main problems are absorbancy and odour.  I bought Living World brand called Fresh ‘N Comfy.  It’s made from recycled newpaper and also contains baking soda.  This stuff is amazing!!  Ziggy’s urine has a very musky odour as his is intact and I can’t smell a thing with this stuff.  I even need to remind myself to change it as sometimes I forget.  Anyways… I just wanted to share this as I personally had trouble finding an affordable litter that worked well for me.

Just make sure your bun doesn’t ingest the litter as baking soda is harmful. I also very much liked litter with a tiny bit of baking soda but I don’t use it all the time or mix with normal litter to alleviate possible issues. I like wood stove pellets when I can find them because the wood smell is helpful. I have a sensitive nose so I can still detect regardless though.

Ziggy’s never eaten litter (so far I’ve tried aspen shavings, yesterday’s news and wood pellets). He won’t even eat the hay touching his litter. lol! Spoiled boy.
