Hi.. I am new here to this forum and I have a question I cannot find a clue about..

I have had almost 10 bunnies in my lifetimeages 16 – 38 all males not all neutered so I am familiar with the basics of spraying and some male behavior but here’s the deal. I got Nero from a breeder of purebred N”Dwarfs. and was told he was 8 weeks.he;s my first n dwarf I previously has lops jerzy woolie and lionheads.

I thought he seemed a little big and noticed his testes have already dropped but here is the confusing behavior

this week he started to urine or spray in a mid binky or bunny hop and kick the fluid in air and make it splash. its odd as for the many males I have had in the past none have ever ever done this.

ill be on the floor playing with him or petting him  I let him run and dash and he kicks his fluid a few times disgustingly in my face

I know what ha to be dome for me it to save it up as holidays hurt the pocket. I cant seem to litter train this one either

I think he’s at least a month older than I was informed

this binky splash seems like a get out of my #$%#ING face behavior lol

This is actually pretty normal. A lot of boys (and even some girls) can do this. Sounds like this little guy needs to get snipped ASAP. Maybe the vet will have a better idea of his actual age. Boys can be done at 4 months.

Yeah, with descended testes I would bet he’s at least 3 month, but probably more like 4 months.

Welcome to my world! (Though, not anymore – snip snip!). Seriously – my Henry sprayed us constantly! We learned to keep our mouths closed, pillow’s at hand for spray defence, and my dogs kept right away from him, to the point if Henry jumped up on the bed, the dogs all jumped down! (How Henry became top dog). We had him neutered and (for us) Henry was all good within 2 weeks, though every time he turned his back on us for a good month after, we still winced and grabbed for the pillows. Once I felt I had the all clear – I then began the wash down – furniture, curtains, bedding, etc., and lets not forget the walls to get all that yellow/brown piddle dribble off. (My daughter when dropping in for a visit once, went into my room and asked how I managed to spill a cup of tea ‘up’ my wall????? Of coarse I tripped…..). Horrendous!
So my simple suggestion, ha hah – get him neutered ASAP!

                  Really laughed hard at that.

Lol, thanks Peony – I can too ‘now’! But at the time I was mortified! I was sleeping in a room that was Henry’s oversized toilet – YUCK! Cheers.

Oh my! That would wake you up in the morning!

Neither of mine have done that, but I’ve heard about it before and I don’t think it’s totally unusual. Neutering would definitely help.

My boy (holland lop) had descended testicles at 8 weeks old, so you can’t go by that to judge age. And he could be large if he’s a false dwarf, which means he didn’t get the dwarfing gene and could end up a little bigger than standard.
