Hi! My name is Lynn and I have been a proud bunny owner since 2008. My bunnies are Usagi the dutch (adopted in 2008), Kimiko the Holland lop (bought in 2009), and Tsuki the Flemish giant (bought in 2013)! I got all of my bunnies at young ages. Usagi loves to lay in the sun and get pets, Kimiko is spoiled and always wants to be the first (and last)  to get attention, and finally Tsuki is energetic and loving. When I brought Tsuki home she was diagnosed with pasturella and had to undergo treatments. With lots of love and care she stopped showing symptoms after 2.5 months! She hasn’t regressed since, but does enjoy going to the vet for checkups (especially since she gets to play in the park afterwards).  I can’t wait to learn new things about bunnies that I never knew and to talk with other bunny owners!

How cute, what character in that face and those ears Welcome to bb. I am also new here. I have 7 rabbits myself, (2 on purpose, 5 followed very quickly by mistake, but everyone is snipped now). I love learning about my rabbits and about everyone else’s too. I know you will have just as much fun here.

          All the best

          Tiffany

Thank you so much and Welcome to you as well! I snipped Usagi (my only boy), but that does sound absolutely adorable!!! Seven bunnies sound like a lot of work, I’m sure the rewards are more than worth it though =D

Yes, tell me about it! It was an adorable albeit freaked me out surprise when I found 5 little mice (which were baby rabbits) in their hidey hole (the male had been neutered but had managed to impregnate her beforehand.) Then when they got bigger it was overwhelming, but we are all finding our groove now and doing well

I am glad to hear all your little bunnies are healthy now

                      They’re very sweet bunnies!
                      Welcome to the forum

Can I just ask why Usagi was in the bath in the first picture?

It’ isn’t a good idea to give rabbits a bath.

He was in the bath because my fiancée had him (and our dec. bunny Jasmine) outside while he was cleaning his grill (fenced in yard) and Usagi was being chased by Jasmine (she was a rescue) and came darting into the bucket of degreaser. I freaked out for like hours lol.

Oh goodness. I would have been freaked out too. I have a fenced yard but there is an open field behind my home where horses use to live. We have lots of hawks that hang out here I would be too scared they would get taken.

We used to live in the mountains, so the poor buns didn’t get out very much for the very same reasons =) We recently moved into a town and dont have a hawk problem anymore, but crows do tend to come around, so if the bunnies are outside, so am I ^^ Sometime this year we’re building an enclosed area under our deck that the buns will have full access to!

That sounds nice they will enjoy that.
