My baby has spent Christmas hiding under the Xmas tree, we have moved in with my parents after our bereavement and for the first time since Tally was a kit he’s seen a Christmas tree, as my husband and I were always very aware of the potential danger. I couldn’t ask the same of my parents obviously.

Anyway no danger noted Tally came up sniffed the tree, marked it with vigorous rubbing and then decided it was his new home. He’s sat underneath it for most of the holiday season. So now it’s gone, and he’s so sad, he keeps going up to where it was and sniffing, and looking round and then coming up to me and staring accusingly “Where is my den Mum?, Why have you moved my hidey place?”

I have put a chair there now, and he is sitting under it, but Mum and I feel guilty, so we are looking for something similar, non toxic (he may try and eat it?) attractive to us, possibly with branches to hang his toys off, dark, and suitable to be in the living room?

        Any suggestions?

What about a potted rosemary plant? That would be Christmas tree-ish in appearance and they are safe for bunnies.

Do note the plant would need to be in a sunny spot though since they like the sunlight.
