Is there a list of things that ok to give to a bunny if she doesn’t eat it? I have unsalted pistachio nut shells and they make a great rattling noise. but they have the little paper from the shell in them. Penelope isn’t a big chewer, and i’ve had some success with some toys but i have to switch them out because she get’s board with them fast.

I was thinking it might be good to have a list, like the toxic plant list, for the toy experiment page for us newbies.

other things i am curious about

cotton balls, how to know if store bought baskets are safe, the handles on paper bags, waste paper with home printer ink on it…. now i’m drawing a blank on all the things i thought of.

if there is a list for this sort of thing please post!

        Thank you!

Pistachio shells aren’t safe, not just because of a chewing hazard but also for their feet. My buns did get a hold of my discarded shells accidentally and loved it but it’s not a good idea in my opinion. Cotton balls also isn’t safe in case of ingestion.

There’s a sticky on this forum which links to toys and homemade toys.
