My buns are currently on Oxbow bunny basics because my vet recommended it. However, the Small Pet Select pellets look like they would be better for the bunnies because they don’t have added sugar, etc. Does anyone use these pellets/has switched to these pellets? Does anyone know if they really are better for the bunnies?

Added sugar? You mean the molasses? Both brands contain that. Oxbow has higher amounts of certain listed vitamins too. Otherwise, I didn’t see much difference.

          Oxbow:
          Crude Protein min 14.00%
          Crude Fat min 2.00%
          Crude Fiber min 25.00%
          Crude Fiber max 29.00%
          Moisture max 10.00%
          Calcium min 0.35%
          Calcium max 0.85%
          Phosphorus min 0.25%
          Copper (min) 30 ppm
          Vitamin A (min) 19,000 IU/kg
          Vitamin D (min) 900 IU/kg
          Vitamin E (min) 190 IU/kg

          Small Pet Select:
Crude Protein: Not Less Than 14.0%

My exotic vet (QLD – Australia) recommended the Oxbow – lucky, cause the only pet shop that sells bunny food (and it’s still a 30 minute drive away from me) has Oxbow and nothing else. So I’m guessing it must be pretty dam good!
