        Good Morning, all!

I dont know if I told any of you this awhile back, but I have been fostering for some time now. I had a bonded pair for about 7 months…a Dutch girl named Pinot and a Jersey Wooly boy named Sebastian. They were wonderful together…always watching out for each other, snuggling, grooming and playing together. Pinot was such a sweet girl. She loved to snuggle and nip at my legs when I was cleaning their pen. She loved banana slices and any green veggies. I loved her and Sebastian, even though they were not my own.  I had to give them up to a new foster home, as I was taking in another foster (Derby) to bond with my little Spike. I just happened to be looking on Pet Finder (for fun) to see what the rescue was up to. I didnt see Pinot and Sebastian on the website, so I asked if they were adopted. The rescue owner informed me that Pinot had passed away. She had stopped eating and developed a pretty bad sneeze. Her foster mom brought her to the vet, but the meds didnt work and she passed, with Sebastian at her side. I will always miss that sweet little girl…and I want her to know that I loved her…and I always will. The good news is that Sebastian is doing ok since Pinot’s passing and even got adopted yesterday! I wish that Pinot would have been able to be adopted before she passed, but I know that she had a “paw” in Seb being adopted and that she is watching over him from the Rainbow bridge now.

Sorry to hear about Miss Pinot but glad to hear her partner Sebastian got adopted. It was obvious you cared for her.
