I’ve bought a lot of rabbit toys, hanging toys, toys that just go on the floor, etc. She never seems interested in any of it. She is a 1.5 year old holland lop. She has a large cage that is never closed. She also has free run of the room it’s in and when we are home, she has the run of the room that’s hers, our living room, dining room, and kitchen. The room where her cage is, is also my daughter’s playroom. Maybe she is more interested in the kid toys than the bunny toys?

Some rabbits just don’t play a whole lot like that.

“toys” that rabbits can eat/dig/chew are always a big hit–you could go with something like that, a phone book, a box…

For all the money I have spent on every rabbit toy in every pet store, mine prefer leftover cardboard boxes and toilet paper rolls and the like. Sometimes they will play with a toy, but its rare. I do notice that they play with the dogs toys when I let them out for running around time, they will mount the fluffy dog toy and sort of dig at it, but even if I leave a dog toy in their habitat, they don’t really play with it. So, go figure.

My boy has not touched/played with one toy I have bought him! He is free range 24/7, but his favourite is anything cardboard! Empty tissue boxes, toilet rolls, boxes in general. (oh, and along with anything he isn’t allowed to chew! DOH!). Henry got nothing for Chrissy – there was nothing to get him??? (And let’s not forget – he was too naughty for Santa to visit him this year! He was warned!). Ha ha hah!

Ok, glad mine isn’t the only one! Mine also loves to chew cardboard. I guess cardboard boxes it is!
She does love my dogs and even jumps on them on occasion to get them to play.

Same with my boy – he’s actually top dog of our pack (3 dogs). Ha hah! And the dogs know it too! (my poor babies, lol!). What breed do you have?

My oldest dog (also deaf and blind) is still top dog. I think the rabbit is #2.

My oldest dog is blind and deaf too – Lhasa Apso x Maltese. Henry jumped up on the bed once and landed right on top of her, poor Sammi – it scared the life out of her. She gave a growl, but that was it. The reason I know Henry is ‘top dog’? When he’s annoys them too much, they walk away from him. If he wasn’t, I’m sure they would nip at him for him to go away. Never happened. It’s so funny seeing this cute little rabbit in charge of 3 dogs!
