After clipping flowers nails, I cleaned out the bathtub. I put bear in first, then flower. I never imagined it would be so…. Boring. Lol! They are sometimes ignoring eachother. But they have just been sitting so close now. Face to face. Flower will just plop herself so comfortably next to him. He will nibble some hay.. before, I would have one bunny out at a time. Bear would run up to flowers cage, and she would binky and get all excited when he would run over to her cage. The cutest thing, c: but are they so calm now because they already know eachother? Is it because they are in a neutral area? Is there a possibility they could fight next time? They are so chill, just sitting so close to eachother but not necessarily acknowledging them, either.

Yes, there is a possibility they could fight next time, but this is a great sign. Maybe bring your laptop and watch netflix or hulu while you babysit them lol. Sometimes, rabbit bonding is boring. Really boring xD I’d give it a little more time before moving on to a less neutral area. They might fight at that point, or before then, sometimes you just never know.

Ignoring each other isn’t a bad thing. It could be because it’s neutral territory and they are unsure about the “weird” surroundings.

                  Yes, that’s normal.

If she isn’t distressed by it, then let them “hump things out”. It’s normal. He’s just letting her know who the boss is.

If the bunny getting humped isn’t upset by it than I wouldn’t worry. If they start to get bothered let them hump for a few seconds and then gently push them off. This lets them feel successful in their dominance display but keeps the other bunny from getting too irritated.
