My little 1 year old is being a Grinch. She will grunt at me if I try to pet her sometimes then turn around and beg for me to pet her and the next second grunt and swat my hand away. This is not her at all, she is usually so loving. Also she is shedding so much undercoat, I think she likes when i pluck it away but is that okay to do? whats going on with her… is it because its winter and she should be hibernating? she still has energy…idk

Well, the first question would usually be, “Is she spayed?” A quick glance through your previous posts show that SHE IS SPAYED and has been for several months. So that is good…

Many theories suggest that rabbits in the midst of a heavy shed can get quite ornery. So that might account for her odd “I love you, I hate you, I love you again!” behavior.

Other than that, are there any changes… new animals, new people, new house, new location within the house?

Is her health normal, she is eating like normal, drinking, pooping, etc…?

She seems to be eating and drinking a little less than her normal amount and the only change in house has been that I have had to spend a little more time at work and a little more time at school(finals). But I still make sure she gets to come out twice a day even if I have to get up early to do it. She is shedding more than usual… I read that a damp towel helps take off fur… is this true or will it make her sick? Thank you so much for your reply.

My girl, Olivia, gets pretty cranky during a heavy shed. It’s like bunny PMS.

Damp hands are a great way to take off lots of loose hair that would otherwise be ingested. After grooming with a brush, I dampen my hands (I keep a little dish of warm water in my grooming area), shake of the excess and run hands along bunny. Then rub my hands together to remove the hair from my hands. I do this until there’s is not much coming off anymore. Also a great way to do under the belly. Make sure not to get bunny wet, though, just use damp hands.
